Meeting the large rabbits

23 October 2017

Tony the Chronicler is a new volunteer on the museum team and he's been out and about on site meeting the staff, volunteer and animals that make the Museum of East Anglian Life

The bigger they are the cuddlier and happier they seem. John and Lucy, our volunteers who look after the rare breeds so well, are seen cuddling and feeding the museum’s large rabbits Roger and Jessica.

They love apples and carrots and a cuddle and they are looking forward to the next Petting Zoo session which is to be held at the museum and allows children and their parents to stroke and cuddle the small animals.

Every day a team of volunteers spend hours cleaning out the animal homes, caring for them and feeding them. Come rain or shine.
