Cider and Song Spotlight: The Company of Horham Old School

The Museum will be launching an exciting new event in October, the Cider and Song Festival. As we count down till the start of the event we’ll have blogs featuring a spotlight on some of the acts we’ll have featured. This week our blog features The Company of Horham Old School who will be performing on Saturday 20th October.

The Company of Horham Old School

The Company of Horham Old School are a collective of musicians who formed for an East Anglian Traditional Music Trust project and have continued to meet monthly and perform. The format is session / concert party style. People take turns and sing/ play and also sing /play as a group together. The group has an informal feel of a group of friends spontaneously bursting into songs and music, much like an impromptu session.
