Tony Butler
Director
I have been Director since 2004 and it has been the most fulfilling job I’ve ever had! The museum not only celebrates the heritage and culture of East Anglia, but through our social work we are making a real difference to people’s lives. |

Lisa Harris
Collections Manager
I have worked at MEAL since 2001 and enjoy caring for its 40,000 objects. Some of my most memorable moments have included acting as human sheepdog, meeting the Queen, learning to drive a steam engine and being filmed for Anglia TV’s ‘Bygones’. |

Patsy Cane
Office Manager
I co-ordinate and help organise the way the Museum works behind the scenes. I enjoy getting out on site for our events and I especially enjoy the colour, sound and atmosphere of both our Beer Festival and Gypsy Arts days. |
 |
Steve Howard
Estate Manager
I am qualified in Horticulture and have years of experience in estate work game keeping. When not running around working on the estate I enjoy Fly Fishing and shooting. |

Jo Rooks
Learning Officer
I have been at MEAL since May 2005 and during that time I have learnt how to run a watermill, bottle fed lambs and enjoyed a job with more variety and challenges than I could ever have dreamt of. |

David Tolliday
Participation Officer
I coordinate activities for the volunteer workforce to support the running and upkeep of the museum and liaise with outside organisations that help and benefit from participation in a wide range of ventures.
Volunteers help with maintaining historic records and research, the gardens, caring for the farm animals, allotment and repairing and running machinery as well as administration and manning the many events and demonstration of rural craft during the annual programme at the museum. |

|
Paul Palmer
Training Officer
I arrange different projects around the museum and I organise the volunteers for the museums events. |
