The Museum of East Anglian Life is the perfect place for a family visit. Nearly every building has something for children to do from grinding their own flour to dressing up in period costume. There are quizzes and trails to take you around the museum site, animals to see and an adventure playground. During the summer holidays there are activities every Wednesday and Friday – you can have a go at making Suffolk rusks, making butter, pond-dipping and more. Half term activities include Mad Museum Inventors, Victorian Fun and Games Day and an Easter Egg Hunt as well as the Big Read, Big Draw in the Big Barn which is held every October.
So why not bring along a picnic, enjoy the beautiful Suffolk countryside and discover the rich history of East Anglia.
